Glass photonegatives of Sydney and surrounding areas, approximately 1890-1923 / photographed by William Joseph Macpherson

Comprises images of sailing ships and boats, beaches, houses, motorcars, miners, portraits and bush. Images include motoring in a 1900 Clement-Panhard Type VCP Voiture Legere Two-seater car (no's. 1-5), SS Kent moored opposite the King's Head Hotel at Circular Quay, Sydney (no. 11), and, "Warringah Lodge", Cremorne (no. 18). 

The photographer, William Joseph Macpherson, his wife, Gertrude, and a young girl in image no. 1 (identified by donor).
