Diary, 28 October 1917 to 9 September 1918. Bound volume, written in pen and pencil.

Includes the preparations for the Battle of Beersheba, the Charge at Beersheba with the 4th and 12th Light Horse Regiments, and taking of the town. In the beginning of November the C Squadron of 12th Light Horse was the advance guard for the Division. Lowing writes of the gallop into action across the Wadi. On the 12th and 14th November his gallantry earns him the Military Cross.
