Jackey Jackey was an Aboriginal person from the Merton district near Muswellbrook, New South Wales. He accompanied Edmund Kennedy, Assistant Surveyor, on an expedition to Cape York Peninsula in 1848. Jackey Jackey was with Kennedy when the latter was killed by natives at the Escape River. He then proceeded to Cape York and the waiting supply ship w...
