Obverse: memorial pavilion. Legend: Centenary memorial pavilion. Reverse: Legend: Commemorating first crossing of Blue Mountains. Blaxland Wentworth Lawson 1813-1913. The medal is attached to two bars separated by a red, white and blue striped ribbon. The bars are inscribed' Fear God and honor [sic] the King'. The upper bar is attached to a pin.
