Marie Olive Armstrong (nee Stonehouse) was born in Sydney in 1928. At the age of 19 she joined the New Theatre in Newtown, one of Australia's oldest continuously performing theatres. For over 60 years she worked there as an actor, director, stage manager, choreographer and drama and dance tutor. She married to actor, John Armstrong in 1951. For man...
