Administrative / Biographical history
Jack Douglas Macpherson (1893-1942), enlisted in the 6th Australian Light Horse Regiment in 1915. He was wounded and taken as POW near Jerusalem in 1918, and returned to Australia after recovering in England. He was a farmer at Mudgee.
He also enlisted in World War 2, but died in 1942 aged 49, a victim of the meningitis epidemic at Greta army c...
