Administrative / Biographical history
Douglas Thompson was born in 1932. As a professional photographer he trained in Southport Studio, Queensland. From 1950-1956 he was an RAAF photographer. Thompson also recorded the town of Leeton in 1951 and its fruit cannery. He was a winner in the 1970 Asahi Optical World photo Contest and illustrated the 1972 book Australian pottery by Kenneth H...
