Administrative / Biographical history
Gollan was a feminist, academic historian and political activist. She joined the Communist Party of Australia in 1938, was an active feminist in the 1970s and 1980s, appointed history lecturer at the Australian National University in 1970, and a Greens candidate in 1984 and 1987.
