Administrative / Biographical history
The original Halstead Press, founded in 1929 by George Robertson of Angus and Robertson, was Australia’s leading book printer for forty years.
Halstead Press moved to new premises in 1957. The new plant was at Kingsgrove and was built May 1955 to September 1956.
