Administrative / Biographical history
The Supply was one of eleven ships that made up the First Fleet. Carrying some 750 convicts the Fleet set off from Portsmouth, England, in May 1787. The Fleet was bound for Botany Bay under the command of Captain Arthur Phillip with orders to establish a colony in New South Wales.
