Signature / Inscriptions

Two of the sketches (ff.11-12) are signed and dated '1883' and '84' respectively. Two are signed only (ff.17-18); a fifth is signed in a different way (f.10). Three of the untitled sketches have 'Andrews' in pencil on the mounts in a hand first attributed to A. H. Spencer although this seems rather unlikely (ff.1, 7-8). Ff.9, 11-12 have description...
