The complete East India pilot, from London to any part of the Red Sea , Gulf of Persia, India and China Seas, Australia, Van Dieman's Land, and New Zealand : comprehending a set of new and accurate charts, both general and particular, exhibiting all the passages out and home; particularly designed for ships bound to the Azores, Madeira, Cape de Verd, Ascension, & St. Helena; Rio Janeiro, the Cape of Good Hope, Isle of France, Red Sea, Bussorah, Bombay,, Ceylon, Madras, Bengal, Rangoon, Princes of Wales Island, Malacca, Singapore, Siam, Bencoolen, Batavia, Manila, Canton, and Amboyna; Swan River, King George's Sound, and Port Jackson in Australia; Hobart Town and Launceston in Tasmania or Van Diemans's Land; Bay of Islands in New Zealand. The whole drawn from the most recent surveys, and including many important discoveries made by experienced officers in the Royal Navy, and the honourable East India Company's Service, and by Commanders in the free trade; to which is added a chart of the variation of the magnetic needle, between the latitude of 60° north and south / arranged and improved by J.W. Norie.
