Robbery and rewards. Whereas about two o'clock on Saturday morning the 13th inst. the house of Isaac Ambrose Eccles, Esq; at Cronroe, in the county of Wicklow, was burglariously broke open, by several men disguised, two of whom violently forced open his bed-chamber, demanded his money, bank-notes, &c. and feloniously took two gold-watches (one made by Graham, London, the other an old chased watch, made by John and Moses Fountain, London, number 260) about twenty guineas in cash, and a large quantity of plate, consisting of the following articles, five forks, two-grained, crest, a broken halbert; ... At foot of the announcement is a declaration by the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland that a pardon will be given to whoever betrays the men involved in the robbery, the declaration, signed: Tho. Waite, is dated at head: Dublin Castle, 16th March, 1779.
