Half-title reads: The newe atlas.
In vol. 2 the last digit of the imprint date is altered to "8", either in the plate (in which case vol. 2 is STC 17828) or in MS.
The foliated sections consist of double-page maps with text on back, foliated on the text pages (first recto and second verso of each sheet).
