This engraved Admiralty chart (now no. 2443) had new editions 1881, 1927; corrections in 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1933, 1934, 1938, 1940, 1944, and 1963.

Donated in a tube labeled "The Arctic Charts of Captain George Leslie Murray R.N. 1805-1885. Served in the Crimean War at the Battle of the Baltic. These charts are from the 1850-1854 period when he was engaged by the Admiralty to join in the search for Sir John Franklin, lost on the N.W. Passage Expedition."
