"Mr Cunningham killed here" near the Bogan River refers to the death of Richard Cunningham, Superintendent of the Botanic Garden, who joined Mitchell's 1835 expedition to the River Darling.
An exquisitely engraved map of the area from Goulburn River to Wilson's Promontory; from Spencer's Gulf to Pacific Ocean.
