Summary
The Smiths Lake Estuary Management Plan was developed with the intent of achieving integrated, balanced, responsible and ecologically sustainable use of the lake. Smiths Lake is approximately 25 km south of Forster on the NSW Lower North Coast, between Wallis Lake and the Myall Lakes. The catchment is small (33 km2 including the lake).
