First ed. of Tomson's revision which became the final and popular one of the Geneva New Testament. Tomson was secretary to Sir Francis Walsingham, to whom he dedicated this ed.
Rare Books copy: Leaf 213 is numbered 183; leaves 300 and 301 are both numbered 301, leaf 439 is numbered 419, and leaf 440 is numbered 444. Many of the pages are stained, bear worm holes or have torn margins. Throughout the volume are annotations, apparently in the hand of Seth Ellis M.A. of St John's College, Cambridge....
