Paupers and dependants (Scotland). Return to an order of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 17th July, 1907; for--return showing the number of all ordinary poor and their dependants chargeable to parish councils in Scotland during the year ended the 15th May, 1907, including poor relieved whose settlements were undetermined at the 15th day of May, 1907, classified in the following forms:--(1) aggregate period of chargeability and number of times relieved, distinguishing (a) persons relieved wholly in institutions; (b) persons relieved wholly outside institutions; (c) other persons relieved; and also distinguishing, in the case of these classes, (1) male adults; (2) female adults; (3) children. Aggregate period of chargeability of individual paupers during the year. Not exceeding one week, over 1 week, and not exceeding 4 weeks, over 4 weeks, and not exceeding 13 weeks, over 13 weeks, and not exceeding 26 weeks, over 26 weeks, and not exceeding 39 weeks, over 39 weeks, but less than one year, whole year, total,--Paupers. Number of times chargeable during the year. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5 or more. Total. Dependants. Number of times chargeable during the year. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5 or more. Total. (2) Ages and sex, distinguishing (a) persons relieved singly; (b) families--(1) heads of families; (2) dependants. Age groups.
