Summary
This television mini-series is set against the chaos of World War II and centres on an English woman, Jean Paget, and an Australian soldier, Joe Harman, who are both prisoners in Japanese-occupied Malaya. Upon learning of each others survival after the war, they reunite and settle together in the Australian outback.
