Villiers has the honour to inform the Nobility and Gentry of the University, and the neighbourhood, that he intends reading the following pieces [electronic resource] : La Partie de Chasse d' Henri IV. A Comedy, in Two Acts, by M. Collet. Persons of the Drama. Henry IV. King of France. Duke of Sully, his Prime Minister. Duke of Bellegarde, Lord Chamberlain. Marquis Conchiny, the Queen's Favourite. Michaw, a Miller. Richard, his Son. Catau, the Miller's Daughter. Margot, Wife of the Miller. Agathe, a Peasant Girl, educated at Court. Lucas, a Peasant. A Wood-Cutter. Two Deer-Stealers. Jacques Splin. A Farce, in One Act, by M. Patrat. Persons of the Drama. Jacques Splin, an Englishman. Mr. Loyer, an Innkeeper. Therese, his Daughter, a Girl of 15. Jacquot, a Waiter, aged 17. A Stuttering Lawyer. The above Readings having been patronized by the Nobility and Gentry before whom he has had the honour of performing-at Bath, by their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of York-at Oxford and Blenheim-House, by his Grace the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough-at Bristol, Brighton, and several other places, by Persons of the greatest Distinction, induces Captain Villiers to hope that he shall have the happiness of affording satisfaction to those Ladies and Gentlemen who will honour him with their patronage. Tickets, 3s, 6d, each, to be had of Mr. S. De Villiers, at the Eagle and Child, Bene't Street, and of Mr. Hodson, Printer. On Thursday next, The Spanish Barber; Ou Le Barbier de Seville, by Beaumarchais.
