"The ship "Duff" (the first missionary ship) Captn. Jas Wilson & crew of 22 officers & men, sailed from London Augt. 10th 1796, with 30 missionaries, 6 of their wives & 3 children. On this first voyage (shewn on this chart) 3 stations were established located at Tahiti, at Tongatabu, and at Sta Christina in the Marquesas"
