Logbook of the sloop Swallow from 20 August 1766 to 21 May 1768 in William Kirton's hand, bound in vellum. The logbook has been kept in two styles. At times it has columns headed H, K and F, for Hours, Knots and Fathoms, followed by Remarks with the date. At other occasions it has Days, Month, Winds, Remarks.
