General note
This Wedgwood medallion, after the portrait by William Hodges, is similar to P*24 but is slightly brighter blue in colour. A similar medallion is held in the Dixson Library collection at DL Pa 95.
Possibly modelled by John Flaxman Jnr. ca. 1777-1780.
A crack is visible across the mid-section of the portrait.
