The two storey building at the right belonged to Thomas Barker `Roslyn Hall'. The gabled house at the centre is possibly Larbert.
Dated and titled as above from inscription formerly pasted onto back of canvas; inscription now at PXn 71

Attributions / Conjectures
Previously attributed to Catherine E. Gordon since four others in the same set were stamped with her name. In 1971 the Library's Art Restorer examined this painting and another attributed to G.E. Peacock and compared them to other held in the Library -- Mitchell Library catalogue cards.
