This lined exercise book was left at Pantoney's Crown on Saturday 12th June 1976. It contains short entries by bushwalking groups that include names of the groups, names of individuals and weather conditions. Many entries include ink sketches. Some of the entries towards the back of the book have suffered from water damage.

Pantoney’s Crown is an isolated rock massif at the entrance to the Capertee Valley. It’s in the Gardens of Stone National Park, north of the Blue Mountains and west of the Wollemi.
From the summit, expansive views of the Capertee Valley and Wollemi National Park can be seen.
