Administrative / Biographical history
Dr. Mary Booth (1869-1956) was born and initially educated in Sydney, she later trained at the College of Medicine for Women at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 1899. She returned to Sydney in 1900. Throughout her life she was prominent in many organisations, being interested in feminism, health, town planning and patriotism.
