Originally donated to the Dennis Wolanski Library of the Performing Arts, Sydney Opera House, by Walter Hartley, and later transferred to the State Library of New South Wales.
Administrative / Biographical history
Walter Hartley was the grandson of Harry (Henry) Paulton (1842-1917). Harry Paulton was a well-known comic actor and playwright who appeared under the J.C. Williamson management in Australia in the 1890s.
Harry's children included Agnes, Harry, and Edward - who himself was an author and playwright.
