The first report of Cylicospirura strasseni (Singh, 1934) Chabaud, 1959, a spirurid parasite in nodules in the stomach wall of the Asian house shrew (Suncus murinus) in Thailand. Infection rates up to 72% were found in shrews trapped in one area of Bangkok.
