An ultra‐wideband (UWB) antenna with dual band‐notched characteristics is proposed in this letter. The fabricated prototype of the proposed antenna has a compact size of 30 × 24 mm which operates at 3 to 14 GHz and attained dual notch‐bands at 3.3 to 3.7 GHz and 5.15 to 5.825 GHz.
