An HPLC method for quantitative determination of rhamnocitrin in common horse chestnut (
Aesculus hippocastanum
L.) buds was developed. The rhamnocitrin content in the buds varied from 0.34 ± 0.02 to 0.45 ± 0.02%. The error of a single determination of rhamnocitrin in the buds was ± 5.88% with confidence probability 95%.
