在甲骨文中所見商王廟號舆漢朝司馬遷所作史記中記载基本相同。商王廟號多為两個字，其第二字恆為十個天干之一。以天千為廨號是商代王室特微，與王室繼承或吉日祭祀有關。至於商王癯號中笫一字之本義，則少見學者討論。本文利用甲骨文之文字分析，安陽小电股墟考古所得有關夯土版築建築之資料，「般」與「版」二字音莪之比較，以及其他故藉之資料論證商代笫十九帝之廉號盤庚（甲骨文中作虾昭)中之盤（昭）字，應為其諡號，用以總结紀念其一生遷股建都之功業。 The Temple Names (廟號) of Shang Kings (ca 1,700 to 1,100 BC ) found in the Oracle Bone Writings are remarkably similar to the King List c...
