The prevalence of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is considered equal in male and female patients but recent studies in cohorts of PsA it has been observed that women are more dominant in sex distribution, and the female-male ratio varies between 1.2 and 2 [1]. It is not yet clear whether this is related to a change in the epidemiology of the disease.
