吴震教授主持的国家社科基金重大项目＂多卷本《宋明理学史新编》＂,从现在拟定的编写提纲来看,我觉得主要出新处有三个方面：一是新视野。从唐宋儒学转型讲起,直至明清之际思想转型;就是说,把宋明理学置于两个＂转型＂中予以考察,这是不同于以往宋明理学史研究的新视野。应当说,这方面确有不少问题是以往忽视的。比如柳宗元和理学兴起的关系,他明确指出要吸取佛学来重振儒学,与韩愈以排拒佛学来复兴儒学是不同的。
