通过对三峡库区灌丛群落的初步调查，该地区灌丛现有１５个群落类型，常见的球核荚灌丛，白栎灌丛，黄栌灌丛，其丰富度指数、多样性指数相对较高，而疏水柏枝灌丛、秋华柳灌丛物种相对单一，灌丛群落多样性在海拔梯度上未表现出明显的规律性，这可能与库区强烈的人为干扰活动有关。
