为了了解＂中国农业核心期刊＂的基本状况,对《中国农业核心期刊期刊概览2014》上所列的中国农业核心期刊的类别、年份、地区、主办单位、联合办刊和刊期进行了统计和分析。结果显示,13类189种核心期刊中综合性农业类期刊占比最高,占12.17%,1980年一1989年期间创办的农业核心期刊最多,占41.80%。189种核心期刊中,有63种核心期刊主办单位位于北京市,主办单位是研究院所、各类学会和高等学校的核心期刊最多,另外,50.26%的农业核心期刊是双月刊,35.98%是月刊。
