A.C. 'Johnny' Wallace was born in Macksville, NSW in 1900. He was educated at Sydney Grammar School and Sydney University where he excelled at rugby union. In 1921 he toured New Zealand with the NSW team. Awarded a Rhodes scholarship in 1922, he studied law at Oxford University and played nine tests for Scotland as part of the celebrated Oxford-Sco...
