Men Opposing Patriachy (MOP) was a Sydney based men’s group running between ca. 1982 and ca. 1991. MOP actively opposed sexism and all forms of oppression and organized various activities for men, including discussion and film nights, consciousness raising groups, men’s festivals and a newsletter entitled, ‘Alternative Male’.
