Kenneth Whistler Street, chief justice and lieutenant governor of NSW, was born in 1890, son of Philip and Belinda Street. He was educated at Homebush Grammar School, Sydney Grammar School and the University of Sydney, where he graduated Bachelor of Arts in 1911 and Bachelor of Laws in 1914.
