Ami Karina, nee Zimmerdahl, 1898-1979, was born in Denmark in 1898. She trained at art schools in Copenhagen and London before emigrating to Australia in the 1920s. She worked freelance as an artist for newspapers and magazines including the Sydney Mail as well as painting portraits and book illustrations. She exhibited with the Royal Art Society,...
