Administrative / Biographical history
Tom Giuffre was born in Sicily in 1912. He studied agriculture at San Placido Calonero in the province of Messina. Soon after his arrival in Sydney in 1928, Giuffre established a florist shop in Paddington and from there he went on to a successful business career in manufacturing.
