Sir W. Hudson Fysh (1895-1974) was a founder of Qantas Ltd, 1920. Born and educated in Tasmania, he served during World War I in Gallipoli and Palestine, before transferring to the Australian Flying Corps and graduating as a scout pilot in 1918.
