Administrative / Biographical history
P. J. Handcock, from Bathurst, N.S.W., served with the Bushveldt Carbineers during the Boer War. Following the killing of Boer prisoners he was court martialled along with Harry (Breaker) Morant and two others and convicted of murder. Morant and Handcock were shot on 27 February 1902
