Administrative / Biographical history

Dr. Susman was born in Sydney in 1898. He was educated at Sydney Church of England Grammar School and Sydney University and became a pioneer in thoracic surgery in Australia. He worked at the Sydney Mater and Royal North Shore Hospitals and served as a surgeon in the A.I.F. during World War Two. He died in 1988
