Henry (Harry) Douglas Vincent Nicholls, a tailor’s cutter of Ashfield, Sydney, with his brother Ellis enrolled for the Army Medical Corps on 24 Aug. 1915. He enlisted in the A.I.F. aged 25 years, 13 Sept. 1915, embarked from Australia on HMT Gloucester Castle, 22 Dec. 1915 and worked in military hospitals in England and France. He returned to Austr...
