Administrative / Biographical history

Designer, Florence Maud Broadhurst, was born at Mungy Station, Mount Perry, Queensland in 1899. Later known as singer and dancer `Bobby Broadhurst', Florence performed in China before setting up a performing arts academy in Shanghai. From 1927 Florence lived in London and returned to Sydney in 1949. She became well known for her wallpaper designs....
