Administrative / Biographical history
Charles Windeyer, 1780-1855, arrived in New South Wales in 1828. He served as a police magistrate, retiring in 1848. His brother John arrived, and later died, in 1835. His children included Ann Mary, 1809-1894, who married John Thompson; Elizabeth Julian, 1814-1886; and Richard, 1806-1847, journalist, barrister and agriculturalist, who married Mari...
