Sir Earle Christmas Grafton Page (1880-1961), politician and surgeon, was born on 8 August 1880 at Grafton, New South Wales. He won scholarships to Sydney Boys' High School and the University of Sydney. Page entered university at 15 and after a year of arts enrolled in medicine.
