Simeon Lord (1771-1840) was an emancipist who became a prominent trader in Sydney, buying and selling ship cargoes. He was at various times a retailer, auctioneer, sealer, pastoralist, timber merchant and manufacturer. Lord was transported to Sydney in 1791 and assigned to Thomas Rowley of the 102nd Regiment.
