Sydney Glanville Fielding became an Anglican minister in 1882 and was Rector of St Matthias' Church (Paddington, N.S.W.), 1907-1923. He wrote novels, verse, sermons and tracts on masonry, some of which were published. In 1886 at Dubbo he married Lucy Frances Johnson, youngest daughter of Richard Johnson, a solicitor at Mudgee and Wellington. The...
